Race Day is SATURDAY JUNE 1st 2013
With the help of so many runners, sponsors and volunteers, our 2012 race was a success. We are so grateful for all that helped support this event to remember Gabriella (Ella) and to support the efforts of our foundation. With the proceeds of the race, the foundation has been able to help several local organizations.
We would love to let you know some of the things we have been able to accomplish with your support. We were able to help provide backpacks and school supplies to children with disabilities. We partnered with the Town of South Congaree to help with their stuff a stocking program. They so graciously renamed this program “Ella’s Stuff a Stocking.” With our help and the generous donations of the town’s people, Christmas gifts and basic necessities were provided to nearly 60 children.
Thank you for helping us make this possible and for your continued support of our cause. We are looking forward to the 2013 race coming in June!
It is exciting to post the race results from a fabulous race day! Thank you to all that came out to run, walk, volunteer and cheer on the crowd! It was a great day and we are excited for next year.

Only a few more days until the big day. We are gearing up, excited and hope you are too! We have some fun things in store for Saturday morning. We are happy to announce that Mayor Jerry McCormick and Senator Jake Knotts will be speaking at the event. We will have some fun inflatables for the kids to enjoy, popcorn and snow cones for sale, as well as music for everyone.
As we all prepare for the upcoming race, we want to remind you of a few things to prepare for race day to help the morning run a little more smoothly.
Bib Number / T-Shirt Pick-Up – Friday, June 1st, 4pm-7pm
Participants are encouraged to pick up their bib numbers, and T-shirts before race day. Those registering online or by mail can pick up their bib numbers and T-shirts at the packet pick-up Friday June 1st at the South Congaree Arena. Please enter the Arena from Ramblin Rd and Sunset Dr (same street as the library) The pick up booth will be there from 4pm – 7pm.

Start and Finish
All events start and finish at the South Congaree Arena,

The start line will be on Oak St, on the front side of the Arena, with the finish line coming into the back of the Arena from Sunset Dr.
Parking
Parking will be located on the back side of the arena, off of Sunset Dr. Parking will be on your right, after the South Congaree/Pine Ridge Library. For safety reasons on the run/walk course, Sunset Dr, Ramblin Rd and all other roads along the race course WILL BE CLOSED TO CARS NO LATER THAN 7:45AM ON RACE DAY, to clear the roads for the beginning of the race. Please plan accordingly, by arriving at least 45 minutes before the start of the 5k race.
